Book Giveaways

Marta's giving books away again. Now, this post is not really an advertisement for you to go over to Marta's Meanderings and comment so you can get a chance. It's actually my selfish way of getting my name in the mix more often. So don't go over to Marta's place to enter the giveaway, but do go over there to read her always interesting reviews.

I know, I know, that's selfish of me. But I've been itching to read this series by Patterson.

I've not had much opportunity to read James Patterson (although I have enjoyed audio-reads and movies made from his books), so I'm hoping to win the giveaway over at Marta's Meanderings, where the reviewer is giving multiple opportunities to readers to win a copy of the collaboration Run for Your Life by Patterson and Michael Ledwidge.

I know that posting this gives my readers a chance at this thriller, but it also gives me another pea in the pod. New Giveaway at Challies.com

Here's the scoop on the new giveaway at Challies.com: First prize is 40 copies (count 'em 40) of R.C. Sproul's The Truth of the Cross. The catch--the books are not for sale, but for the winner to use as giveaways (especially for evangelistic purposes). Suggestion: if you win you get 10 copies to give away at church, 10 to give to family members, 10 for Christmas gifts, and 10 to save for later opportunities. The winner also gets one copy of Jesus the Evangelist by Richard Phillips.
